Ansonia, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-A third arrest has been made in an Ansonia homicide dating back to 2011, police said.
Authorities extradited Andrew Spino, 34, from Hawaii where he was in jail on unrelated charges.
March 16th, 2011 Ansonia Police received a report of a person shot in front of the Xtra Mart on Wakelee avenue.
Isaia Hernandez was found near the gas pumps, shot multiple times. He later died at the hospital. Police determined he was robbed and shot
by three other men inside his vehicle.
On Wednesday police arrested Spino, due to be arraigned today on felony murder and robbery charges. Two others, Luis Marquez, 29, of Naugatuck and Elijah Stanford, 29 of Willimantic have already been arrested in the case. Police said Spino's arrest is the last in the investigation.
