NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ New London Police have arrested a Montville man who displayed a knife in a racially-charged road rage incident.
Police say that around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Tracy Delillo, 58, got into a road rage incident with another car.
The two vehicles pulled over in a parking lot in the area of 627 Broad Street in New London.
Delillo is accused of getting out of his vehicle with a large knife, at which time he began yelling threats, obscenities, and racial slurs at the other operator.
Police charged Delillo with intimidation based on bigotry or bias in the second degree, threatening in the second degree, breach of peace in the second degree, and carrying a dangerous weapon.
Police recovered two knives at the scene.
Delillo was held on a $50,000 bond.
