A six year old boy is dead as a result of a go-kart crash in Meriden.
Police say the child was wearing a helmet, and was in the go-kart with a four-year old boy Tuesday night at Kronenberger Park.
The go-kart collided with and went under a closed swing gate around 7:45 P.M., seriously injuring the six-year old.
He was taken to Midstate Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The four year old had no major injuries, and was taken to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center for evaluation.
