Killingly, Conn./WTIC Radio - A woman is under arrest after state police say she struck a trooper's cruiser driving the wrong way on Route 6 in Killingly Wednesday evening.

Investigators say a trooper spotted Dawn Dubois, 50, of Danielson, driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of Route 6 near the Route 12 intersection just after 10:00 p.m.

The sergeant activated emergency lights and stopped his cruiser in the lane of travel.

That's when Dubois, who'd initially appeared to slow down and stop, attempted to pass on the cruiser on the driver's side, striking the police car.

No injuries were reported.

Dubois was arrested and charged with OUI, disobeying signal of an officer, and failure to drive in a proper lane.

She's due in court February 11.
