WASHINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police say a pedestrian is dead in the western town of Washington.
Troopers say they responded to Litchfield Turnpike at the Whittlesey intersection around 5:20 p.m. Friday on the report a pedestrian was struck on Route 202.
The pedestrian, identified as Darwin Mauricio Arce Arce, 36, of Danbury, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver wasn't hurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
