HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police are investigating a Friday evening shooting that killed a city resident.
Police say they responded to the area of 145 Francis Avenue on the report of shots fired.
At the scene of the shooting, Teixeira Dorival, 26, was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
There's no word on what may have led up to the shooting, and police haven't commented on any possible suspects or arrests.
