THOMASTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a deadly, fiery Tuesday night crash on Route 8 Southbound in Thomaston.
State Police say the accident happened around 10:24 p.m. Tuesday about a mile north of Exit 38 in Thomaston.
It's unknown why a 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 Quad truck left the left lane of the highway, hitting the wire rope railing in the median.
The truck became fully engulfed in flames.
The occupant, whose name hasn't been determined or released at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
