Connecticut State Troopers have rescued an owl in distress on Route 118 in Litchfield.
They say that the owl was injured when it flew into the side of a car east of Route 254.
One trooper located the owl and wrapped it in a blanket after picking the owl up from the roadway.
She held it until local wildlife rescuers arrived and tool away the owl.
