It took a little longer for firefighters in Waterbury to put out a house fire overnight into Tuesday because of issues with two fire hydrants.

The hydrants were not supplying water.

An additional truck was needed to assist with the fire suppression.

A house and two vehicles at the residence on Bennett Avenue were damaged.

No injuries were reported.

The fire was controlled around 1:17 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
