WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Waterbury Police are investigating a jewelry heist from a store in the Brass Mill Mall that happened over the weekend.
Two suspects, wearing masks and all-black clothing, went into Banter Jewelry around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night. The mall is slated to close at 8 p.m. on Saturday nights.
The suspects, according to police, used hammers to break into the glass jewelry kiosks to steal a number of pieces totaling $10,000.
No one was reported injured in that case.
There's no word whether this recent Waterbury case is related to a theft at a store in the Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester in September.
