Low-flying helicopters seen in Greater Hartford aren't necessarily reason for concern.
Power utility Eversource says it's going to be using helicopters now through Friday, April 3, 2026, to evaluate power lines in Avon, Bloomfield, Bolton, Cromwell, East Hartford, Hartford, Manchester, Rocky Hill, Simsbury, West Hartford, Wethersfield, and Windsor.
