It turns out there was a letter from the woman who strangled her three children in
their Danbury home before hanging herself. Word of the note from from Pedro
Panjon, the distraught father. He tells Hearst Connecticut that when he returned
home from work, the first thing he saw was the letter. His wife wrote that she was
hearing voices, he said, and that she was taking the kids away. And then, in his home, he learned
what she meant. He found the bodies of his 5, 10 and 12 year old children. They were happy,
joyful, sociable kids, he says. Like any happy kids. Panjon says he did not know his wife
needed help.
