LISBON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating the crash involving a vehicle into a building in the eastern Connecticut town of Lisbon that's left the driver of the vehicle seriously injured.
Troopers say they responded to the report around 6:56 p.m. Tuesday of a vehicle into a building at the Lisbon Community Center, 11 South Burnham Highway.
That's where State Police say Terry Powell, 67, of Lisbon, slammed into the building after apparently losing control of the Chrysler he was driving.
Powell is receiving care at for serious injures at William Backus Hospital in Norwich.
