HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - One of three men shot in Hartford early Tuesday evening has died of his injuries, police announced Wednesday morning.
Police say Chaquan Jones, 33, of Hartford died at a city hospital after he was shot on Norwich Street around 6:20 p.m.
Two other men-- both in their 20s-- were wounded and are expected to survive, said police.
It's unclear what led to the shootings, said police. The search for suspects continued Wednesday morning.
It is is 11th homicide in the capital city this year, and came hours after community leaders led Congressman John Larson on a tour of shooting scenes in the city's North End.
