(Mansfield-WTIC radio) A Mansfield man is accused of forcing his way into a person's home, after being told earlier in the day to stay away.
State police say Keith Haddad, 37, tried to enter the residence around 7:30 Tuesday night, banging on locked doors, demanding to get in.
Officers say he did gain entry through the basement, and then forced his way into the complainant's bedroom.
He allegedly pushed the person against a wall, causing a minor arm injury, before taking the person's cell phone, which was on 911, and throwing it.
State police say the complainant was able to escape to a neighbor's home.
Haddad was then apprehended. He faces charges of home invasion, first degree burglary, and criminal trespass.
He was being held on $30,000 cash bond, pending a court appearance.
