NORWICH, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Norwich Police say a Maryland man has been extradited to Connecticut to face allegations he had sexually explicit communications online with a juvenile victim.
Police in Montgomery County, Maryland, took Anthony Guevara, 31, of Olney, Maryland, into custody on January 28.
He waived extradition to the State of Connecticut, and officers from Norwich went to Maryland to bring him to Connecticut on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
Guevara is charged with enticing a minor by computer, misrepresentation of age to entice a minor, risk of injury to a minor, and harmful communication with a minor.
Bond is $175,000.
