VERNON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police arrest a Massachusetts woman who allegedly was drunk when she fled the scene of a crash on I-84.

Troopers say Pheak Si, 40, of Lowell, Massachusetts, allegedly crashed the purple Honda Accord she had been driving into another vehicle on I-84 Eastbound near Exit 67 in Vernon and then fled the scene.

By time troopers caught up to Si, she was seen driving the Accord erratically while failing to maintain the proper lane of travel.

When she stopped for Troopers, it was noted she had an adult and two child, ages 2 and 7-months, passengers in the vehicle.

Si failed field sobriety tests, after Troopers suspected she was driving while under the influence.

Si is charged with operating under the influence, failure to maintain lane, evading responsibility at a motor vehicle collision, and two counts of risk of injury to a child charges.

Bond is $1,000.
