Bristol Police say they man they spent five days looking for has been found safe.
Robert Harper, 71, left his residence and left behind his cell phone Monday morning.
Police released an alert and information about Harper as a search began.
During the week, there were several possible sightings of Harper, but they were not confirmed.
On Wednesday, police had to issue a statement that Harper was not found, despite social media posts that suggested he was.
Friday evening around 7:30 p.m., police released an update he had been found safe and well and that his family had been notified.
