NEW LONDON (WTIC Radio)A second person has been charged in a domestic violence incident involving a minor that occurred in March.
Police discovered a juvenile who sustained injuries and was malnourished. The juvenile was treated at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital and transferred to Yale New Haven Hospital for further treatment. The victim survived injuries.
The investigation determined the juvenile was subjected to living in squalor and inhumane conditions and was abused for a duration of time.
Michael Gregor, 41, of East Lyme, was already charged with strangulation, assault, cruelty to persons and other charges.
On Thursday, Melissa Gregor, 38, of Moodus, was arrested after turning herself into police, facing similar charges.
She was released on 250-thousand dollars bond.
