NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police arrest a New York man in connection with a home improvement investigation in New Fairfield.
Troopers say William Rogers, 42, of Lagrangeville, NY, was extradited from New York to Connecticut to face a larceny charge in connection with an investigation that began back in November of 2024.
Rogers reportedly held himself out to be a general contractor and collected a total sum of $265,000 from the victims for home renovation work that was never completed.
Bond is $100,000.
