One person is dead and another person is detained in a "suspicious incident" at a home in Somers.
Connecticut State Police say they responded to a residence on South Road around 4 a.m. Tuesday on the report of what's being called a "suspicious incident."
A person was found shot. They were later pronounced dead.
A second person was found at the scene. Troopers detained that person as part of the investigation.
No identities have been released.
No other details are available.
Troopers do say, though, that there's no threat to the public.
