Part of Route 8 Southbound is closed this morning in Derby due to "police activity," according to the State Department of Transportation.
The closure is reported between Exits 13 and 12B in Derby.
Traffic is being diverted off the highway at Exit 13A.
It's not clear, at this time, what's being investigated.
