Plainfield, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-A man from Moosup faces several sexual assault charges after having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a thirteen year old female, Plainfield Police said.
Eduardo Acevedo, 33, was arrested June 10 by Plainfield Police, with assistance from Lincoln Rhode Island Police.
Acevedo is charged with six counts of Sexual Assault in the 2nd degree, six counts of Commercial Sexual Abuse of a Minor and six counts of Risk of Injury to a Minor.
An investigation determined that after having the inappropriate relationship, Acevedo fled the state to elude law enforcement.
Acevedo appears in Danielson Superior Court today.
