Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police say the suspect in a fatal shooting in Waterbury this week wound up taking his own life in Virginia.
Waterbury officers say they were notified by Virginia State Police of the death of 44-year-old Solomon Roberts, Sr.
He was wanted in the Tuesday fatal shooting of his estranged wife, 45-year-old Catherine Roberts.
Waterbury police were notified by Virginia state troopers that Roberts was traveling through their state when he was pulled over.
They say he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Roberts also shot his son, 19-year-old Solomon Roberts, Jr., according to police.
He is recovering at an area hospital.
