One Dead, Two Injured In Separate Hartford Shootings

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Two separate shootings in Hartford on Friday night left one person dead and two others injured.
Police said two people were shot, on fatally, near the Trinity College campus at about 9:30 p.m.
That was the eighth double shooting since the beginning of September in Hartford and the 19th homicide in the city since the start of 2020, The Hartford Courant reported.
The second shooting occured about an hour later across the city, police said. The victim in that shooting was conscious when police arrived. There was no condition available Saturday.
No arrests had been made Saturday and police had not released the names of those involved in either shooting.
