STAMFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Stamford police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that killed a city teen.
Police responded to the intersection of Lockwood Avenue and William Street around 9:13 p.m. Friday night.
That's where a 58-year-old Stamford man was making a left-hand turn when the Toyota he was driving collided head-on with the 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle a 17-year-old Stamford boy was riding.
The motorcycle operator was transported to Stamford Hospital where emergency staff attempted life-saving measures, but the teen died from his injuries at the hospital.
Stamford police aren't releasing the boy's name due to his age.
The man who was operating the Toyota remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
