State police have charged a Warren, New Jersey man with driving in excess of 120 MPH in Bridgeport.
Ethan Steier, 20, was driving a BMW on Route 8 southbound near Exit 2 around 2 AM Sunday, when state police say they tried to stop him.
Troopers say Steier instead sped up, and got onto I-95 southbound, eluding police.
State police later tried to stop Steier on I-95 in Westport, but he fled again.
State and Trumbull police then found Steier inside his parked BMW on Waller Road in Bridgeport, where he was arrested.
He's been charged with reckless driving, and disobeying the signal of an officer.
Steier is out on $1000 bond, with a January 8 arraignment scheduled in Bridgeport Superior Court.
