Woodstock, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-Following an investigation that started in July of last year, State Police have arrested a Woodstock man on child pornography charges.
State Police said detectives assigned to the Computer Crimes and Electronic Evidence Laboratory became aware of the downloaded video files. They had been downloaded over several months from a computer file sharing network. Police determined the Internet Protocol address was in the northeast region of Connecticut. They further determined the IP and residential addresses were associated with Anthony Morelli, 55 of Woodstock.
Morelli turned himself in last week.
Morelli faces seven pornography charges including promoting a minor in an obscene performance, promoting and possessing child pornography.
Morelli was released on bond and appears in Danielson Superior Court next Tuesday.
