NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - New Britain Police are looking for a suspect while investigating the death of a woman in a possible domestic violence incident.
Police say they responded to a residence at 57 Prospect Street around 3 a.m. on the report of a possible domestic violence disturbance.
That's when officers found a woman, unresponsive on the floor, suffering from multiple injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another woman was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. She remains listed in critical condition.
It's believed the suspect knows the victims and fled before police could respond.
