Easton, Conn./WTIC Radio - Easton police have released the names of those who were found dead in a car in a pond over the weekend.
The driver has been identified as Jesus Roman, 35, of Easton.
Forty-five-year-old Amy Rockwell of Newtown was a passenger.
Both were dead at the scene.
Police say their vehicle was found partially submerged early Sunday morning in the pond on Stepney and Church roads.
Investigators say the 1995 Jeep Cherokee crossed the double yellow line westbound on Route 59.
The vehicle didn't hit anything but investigators say it somehow became airborne before landing in the water.
The chief medical examiner will determine an official cause of death.
