WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Waterbury Police are investigating a crash that's left a pedestrian dead.
Waterbury police say the accident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday in the area of 62 Chase Avenue.
That's where Dwayne Hunter, 46, of Waterbury, was found struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
Hunter was taken to Saint Mary's Hospital to receive treatment of his injuries but later died.
There's no description of a possible suspect vehicle at this time.
