Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Hartford police are getting the word out now for some expected busy vehicular and foot traffic this coming weekend.
The MLB Home Run Derby X is taking place at Dunkin' Park Saturday night.
That gets underway at 7:00 p.m.
Then, an hour later at 8:00 p.m., 50 Cent takes the stage at the Xfinity Theater.
Police officials say both events will draw larger than normal traffic volumes Saturday night in downtown and the North Meadows.
They say to expect delays and advise attendees to leave early in order to make the events on time and to find parking.
