West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - West Hartford police have released the name of the person struck and killed at Boulevard and Whiting Lane by a vehicle in town Tuesday evening.
The victim has been identified Eugenia Yurovsky, 89, of West Hartford.
Police say the driver who hit Yurovsky did not stop.
Detectives say the vehicle involved may have been a white sedan.
They're asking anyone who may have information to share it with them.
That includes any doorbell or video surveillance footage in the area of Boulevard between South Quaker Lane and Prospect Avenue.
Police would also like to speak to anyone who was aboard a CT Transit bus, #69/Capitol Avenue route around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
