NORWALK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A Winchester woman already facing dozens of other animal cruelty charges and counts is charged again out of Norwalk.
Police are charging Sarah Anne Smolak, 28, with cruelty to animals after they say they received a complaint about a three-year-old brown and white male pitbull named "Little Squishy" that lost weight and had overall poor health while under Smolak's care for around two months last October.
The dog was removed from Smolak’s care and gained weight without issue and his overall health later improved.
Bond for Smolak is $50,000.
