The Patriots new look offensive coaching staff is seemingly growing by the day.

New England is working on finalizing a deal with Robert Kugler to join their offensive staff, per Boston Sports Journal's Mike Giardi. Kugler spent the last two seasons as an assistant offensive line coach with the Panthers and, according to Giardi, is seen as a "rising star" and potentially a future offensive coordinator.

The 31-year-old played college football at Purdue and went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft before signing a free agent deal with the Bills in 2016.

Kugler then got his start in coaching as a graduate assistant and tight ends coach at UTEP in 2017 before heading to the University of Washington as a graduate assistant from 2018-2020. He then spent the 2020 season as an offensive quality control coach at Appalachian State, and the 2021 season as an assistant offensive line coach for the Houston Texans.

Here's a look at the Patriots 2024 offensive staff with the addition of Kugler:

-- Alex Van Pelt, offensive coordinator
-- Ben McAdoo, senior offensive assistant
-- T.C. McCartney, quarterbacks
-- Scott Peters, offensive line
-- Robert Kugler, offensive line

While New England's offensive line was coached by Adrian Klemm and Billy Yates last season, the additions of both Kugler and Scott Peters signal the writing is on the wall for both of them.
