You never get a second chance to make a first impression – and Dane Belton made one hell of an impression on literally his first NFL snap.

Belton, a fourth-round pick out of Iowa, missed the Giants’ Week 1 win in Tennessee recovering from a broken collarbone suffered in training camp. So, Week 2 against Carolina was his debut, and on the opening kickoff, Carter Coughlin hit Carolina’s Chuba Hubbard and forced a fumble, which Belton scooped up to give Big Blue their opening possession at the Carolina 22:

Unfortunately, the Giants got just four yards on three plays, but a 36-yard Graham Gano field goal gave Big Blue an early 3-0 lead.
