DETROIT (WWJ) - A Livonia man is in custody and three additional suspects are being sought in connection with a triple shooting in Greektown.
Detroit Police Chief James Craig announced the arrest of a 23-year old suspect Tuesday morning, as the search continues for his associates.
The chief said investigators were able to use security video to identify one suspect still at large: 26-year old Delano Ward of Farmington Hills.
He said investigators believe the shooting was gang-related; possibly retribution for another shooting late last year.
"The suspects involved live outside the city of Detroit; three of the four are residents out of the county of Wayne," Craig WWJ's Ron Dewey and other reporters. "We believe from a prior incident, they decided to bring their beef to the city of Detroit."
Police said that just before midnight on Sunday, four male suspects were walking eastbound on Monroe Street near Beaubien Street when one of them fired multiple shots into a crowd along the busy sidewalk. Three men, ages 23, 24 and 32, were struck by the gunfire and taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Craig urged Ward and the others involved to turn themselves in to police.
"The message should be clear: We're not going to tolerate violence in the city of Detroit," Craig said. "If you come to Detroit and engage in violence, we will find you. That's the bottom line."
With charges pending, the name of the suspect in custody has not yet been released.
Anyone who has any information pertaining to the shooting is asked to contact Detroit Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587)
