DETROIT (WWJ) -- Nearly a month after a woman was struck by a vehicle on the city's west side, a reward has been offered to anyone who can provide tips leading to a break in the case.

On Dec. 16 30-year-old Alyssa Cotton was walking to her vehicle in the 14700 of Schaefer Highway near Lyndon Street just before 4:30 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle.

Crime Stoppers is now offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who can provide tips that lead to an arrest in the case.

Those who submit tips to Crime Stoppers will remain 100 percent anonymous. Rewards are paid when an arrest is made -- they do not wait for a conviction.

A detailed description of the vehicle is not available, other than it was a black sedan. Surveillance footage from across the street captured the incident, but a make and model could not be distinguished.
