REDFORD TWP. (WWJ) - A $1,000 cash reward is being offered for tips in a string of armed robberies in Redford Township.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan on Tuesday released photos of two suspects sought in the trio of crimes, hoping that someone in the public is able to identify them.
According to investigators, on November 15, 2018, two suspects forced an employee into the Approved Cash Advance Store, located at 27219 7 Mile Road and Inkster and stole cash. On November 17 and December 31, one of the suspects forced an employee into the same store, before business hours, and again got away with some money.
Suspect number one is described as a black male, 6'0" tall with a medium build. He was wearing a burgundy hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants, a black hooded coat, gloves and boots.
The second suspect is a black male, around 5'8" tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded coat, grey pants and blue latex gloves under black gloves.
Anyone who knows the men in the photos or who has any information about this crime should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
