The two-story home was first put for sale in October 2018 at $800,000 before the listing was removed from the market in December for unknown reasons. The home was re-listed for sale on July 19 with an updated price of $1.2 million.

Franklin was 76 and living in a riverfront apartment in downtown Detroit when she died last August from advanced pancreatic cancer.
Franklin died without a will. Her tangible assets include several pieces of property in the Detroit area that according to tax assessors' estimates are worth at least $2 million, with a market value that could easily be twice that.
