Dash & Body Cam Video Shows Wild Chase, Arrest In Macomb County [RAW VIDEO]

RAY TWP. (WWJ) - Additional charges have been filed against a 27-year-old Macomb County man who was chased by car and on foot before he was captured. 

Wild dash and body camera video released by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office Tuesday shows the pursuit of Aniano Arreola-Mora that took officers from Clinton Township to Sterling Heights to rural Ray Township on Sunday.

Raw video shows a deputy chasing an older model tan Cadillac on Garfield south of Hall Rd. As the deputy tries to stop the car from heading into oncoming traffic on 26 Mile Rd, in the roundabout east of M-53, the suspect and deputy's vehicles twice collide.

The sheriff's office said Arreola-Mora, a Ray Township resident, was arraigned in 42-1 District Court in Romeo Tuesday on the two felony counts: Police Officer – Fleeing – Third Degree – Vehicle Code. and Police Officer – Assaulting/Resisting/Obstructing. He was also charged with one misdemeanor count of Malicious Destruction – Trees, Shrubs, Crops, Grass, Turf, Soil - $200 or More But Less Than $1,000.

These charges are in addition to drug possession and fleeing charges previously filed in Clinton Township, where Arreola-Mora is accused of throwing cocaine out the car window as the chase began. 

Arreola-Mora remains held on a $25,000, 10% bond awaiting his next court appearance set for Wednesday.
