DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have released a photo of a suspect's vehicle as they continue to search for a killer in connection with a drive-by shooting on the city's west side.
The shooting took place around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 near the intersection of 8 Mile Road and Lahser.
According to police, the victim was traveling north on Lahser in a black Jeep Patriot approaching 8 Mile when a passenger traveling behind him in a white Jeep Cherokee fired multiple shots at his vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
After the shooting, the suspect fled south on Lahser. A description of the suspect was not provided.
