(WWJ) The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in connection with a double fatal shooting on the city's east side.
The incident unfolded at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2019, when a 27 year old man was discovered fatally shot in the 5000 block of Barham.
A day later, on Monday, May, 27, 2019 at approximately 11:30 a.m., a 25 year old woman was discovered fatally shot in the 4000 block of Pennsylvania.
Police say the cases are connected.
"Both victims knew each other and were with the person-of-interest on May 26, 2019 earlier that evening," police said in a press release.
They're asking metro residents to watch the above video of the person of interest getting out of and into a silver Chrysler to see if it sparks recognition.
