DETROIT (WWJ) - There is plenty to do in Detroit, but the Motor City might not be the right place to raise your dog.
A new study by personal finance website WalletHub ranked Detroit in the bottom 10 of the 100 Most Pet-Friendly Cities. They looked at 24 benchmarks like vet costs, number of pet businesses, city walkability, and even the cost of monthly dog-insurance premiums.
Fresno, California was ranked the worst city for pet owners, while Scottsdale, Arizona was named the best.
