(WWJ) Iconic brand Detroit Vs. Everybody is closing most of its locations as part of a re-organization.
However, owner Tommy Walker has opened a new 10,000-square-foot warehouse in Detroit and will concentrate on that, using it to ramp up production as well as rent it out to others for custom printing. The Eastern Market and the 12 Oaks Mall locations are the only remaining retail outlets listed on the company's website.
Impacted locations include the Mall at Partridge Creek, Lakeside Mall, Fairlane Town Center and the Southfield location.
As a result of the closures, 35 employees have left the company, Walker told WXYZ. He declined to comment on the sales of the stores that have closed.
