(WWJ) The investigation continues Monday into a shooting on the northbound Lodge Freeway near Southfield.
It's a day after a man called Michigan State Police, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, saying he had been shot.
Mystery remains about what exactly led up to the incident, but "this was after a road rage incident," WWJ's Charlie Langton said.
At one point in the conflict between two drivers, the victim reported the other driver pulled up alongside him in a distinctive orange car and opened fire out the window.
The victim was rushed to surgery at a local hospital, and is expected to survive.
Anyone with information on the freeway shooting should call MSP at 313-456-0020.
