Ford Motor Company has issued a safety recall on the 2019 Ranger SuperCab for an issue with the right-front seat belt which were not properly assembled and may not keep passengers secure in accidents, increasing the risk of injury.

Ford has not received any reports of accidents or injuries related to the seatbelts.

The issue occurs with SuperCabs built from June 18, 2018 to June 18, 2019 at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan. Roughly 7,580 vehicles in the United States and roughly 400 in Canada are expected to have this problem.

You can bring your SuperCab to any Ford dealer for inspection and they will repair the issue if necessary. The reference number for the recall is 19S23.
