HARPER WOODS (WWJ) - Harper Woods police are looking for two men who held several people at gunpoint in an early morning home invasion.

According to Harper Woods Police Chief Jim Burke, a resident in the 9900 block Kenosha St., near Moross and I-94, was walking into his house with a group of people at around 2 a.m. Friday when two unknown men came in and demanded money.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, police said, but no shots were fired. No one was hurt, and it's unclear how much money, if any, they got away with.

Police arrived on the scene with K-9 team and searched the area, but couldn't find the suspects.

Suspect number one is described as a black male, around 5'6'' tall with a medium complexion. He was wearing a navy Nike jogging suit with a torn t-shirt partially covering face. Suspect number two is described as a black male wearing dark clothing with his face covered by a t-shirt.

As an investigation continues, police put out an alert to residents about the crime.
