ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Police are investigating a large brawl in Roseville that left one person injured with dog bites.

Officers were called to Lowell Street, near Martin Road and Gratiot Avenue, around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report that a dozen people were involved in fight that had broken out in the middle of the street, and that a dog was involved in some way.

One person had apparent injuries from dog bites and sought their own medical treatment, according to police. No further injuries were reported.

You can see in a video that the dog lunges off his leach after the melee breaks out, and at one point a man punches the red pit bull. At another moment, a man is slammed over and over with a garbage can, then kicked against the curb.

Police say those involved in the fight were residents of surrounding communities as well as Roseville.

No arrested were made. An investigation will determine if charges will be filed.
