FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WWJ) -- A woman and her daughter are dead after being struck by a car late Sunday night in Farmington Hills.
Police say a 40-year-old woman was pushing her 4-year-old daughter in a stroller, as they were attempting to cross 12 Mile Road near Orchard Lake Road just after 10 p.m. when they were hit by a car. Another older child witnessed it, but was not physically hurt.
The family reportedly lives in the area and they were on their way to visit the husband and father, who owns a business in that area.
Police say the driver of the car did stop at the scene and was questioned.
No names have been released.
